![]() ![]() Good article. But it does seem like Clarkson is a bit of an apologist for Jags. He'd tear any other car apart for having poor handling, brakes, and interior bits.

Saw one of those at the Nurburgring. It looks a bit better than the old one, just a bit weirder from the front due to that grill. I think they should stop using the same design model and get Ian Callum to design something different.

The new front bumper on the XJR looks wonky, like something a teenager bolts to a BMW 318i, but the grilles on the wings look nice. And my god, all that aluminium trim replacing the beautiful wood.. almost makes you think it's German.
I love Jaguars, but this one is just a botched attempt to freshen up an old car.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I don't see how people see similarities between the DB9 and XKR. Well...they are both 2+2 coupes. And are both cool. And, er, cost a lot of money. Yeah you get the point. He doesn't design things the same. |

In fact, it almost looks like they might as well use the same door stamping.

That jag looks silly. I love older XJs, but this one ruins it with that happy face.
I suppose it would look better if it were black.

I like it. If I had that kind of money I would buy it, even if it is rubbish.
