Default Lego parody of Top Gear

Here is a funny video I found on the "interweb"* :
http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...431&q=top+gear

I hope it's no repost or misplaced topic. If so, I apologize.

That's possibly the worst Clarkson impression I've heard! images/smilies/tongue.gif

Not that I could do better [*has idea for a thread asking everyone to record Clarkson impressions*].

It's a good idea, a lego parody, let down a bit by some dodgy stop motion, camerawork and lack of a decent script.

God Damnit.

Just when I thought we got rid of Carsightings, he goes and does this.

Seriously, who ever made that:

But if it were Carsightings, he would have mis-spelt "Top Gear"...

But yeah. That was a great concept, executed horrendously. Have the creators ever seen an episode of Top Gear? It would have been so much cooler if they had copied an existing episode and dubbed it instead of those piss-poor impressions.

Speaking of which. A LEGO version of the amphibicar episode? Quick, Robin, to the LEGO collection! images/smilies/ph34r.gif

I was thinking that or Indian but I couldn't tell for sure. (which led me to seriously think it was Carsightings.)

Bloody good effort, if you can't stand the piss being taken out of you then it is you with the "take myself too seriously" problem. The more creative stuff out there, in general, the better.

I agree it would have been better although quite daunting, to have done a whole episode in sound with the Lego stuff replacing the on screen action.

^ Yes perhaps just a single spot would have been within compass.
