New Series To Have New Rips

Hello, im VeyronPaul
i will be attempting to upload the new series of top gear in a 350mb to 400mb file , id like some advice and support, i will be uploading onto mininova as VeyronPaul and will be posting links on here
could viperbond007 help me by adding my rips to finalgear.com

I've always preferred the 350mb rips, and was sad to see them go last series. So I will be downloading them!

I prefer the larger rips - but will take anything when it comes to TG! Especially being in Australia, I am as desperate to see the new series as the rest of you that get to watch it on the 22nd!

People are always messing my nick up. I'm used to it.

Anyway, we'll be releasing 700MB Scene rips as they get out the fastest (by far) and most people want the best quality possible.

For the rest, people usually stick 350MB episodes up on Mininova and/or our Video Offers section.

I really like the better quality rips and the speed the 700 mb come out, but I too prefer the smaller size ones as tg is the only show I d/l I never delete and it is a matter of hd space.

I will proably cont doing what I have been, dl the first out, and if it is the lg one, just catch the smaller one later.

Glad to have both.(well really lad to have any)

Skylock (or anyone), how long does it normally take to get the rips uploaded? And who normally does it? I am so, so keen to see the new series that I will be absolutely twitching from the 22nd onwards.

I get the "big ones" in from 3-4 hours, but my d/l is throttled by my ISP. A lot of the peers get them in about an hour or so I have noticed.

I usually put it on to d/l and go visit someone for a while, stop and get something good to enjoy, and it is either ready or almost ready when I get back.

Yeah, they are released to the private FTPs usually within about 20 minutes of airing and then I have them a few minutes after that via private torrent sites.

Generally my PC downloads TG automatically via the RSS feed so it's waiting for me when I get home from work on Mondays.

My preference is definitely for the 700mb rips - as it's not that big really (when you I get 25 Gb/month download)

If I cant wait that long we have a really quick ADSL2+ connection at work (sync at 23.5 mbit) so I might have to test that one one of these days.

I know Kip_666 did 425MB rips of Season 10 and I recoded one of the ones he was unable to do. Kip's weren't recodes, he encoded them straight from source (Off the Air from BBC2).
