New top toy
You may have heard about James' new light aircraft, and here it is,
This was taken at the Wellesbourne Airfield on July 12. And the thing is called Super Decathlon G-OCOK, apparently. Now, is that a joke or is that precisely why he got this particular model?
I have a recurring dream in which Jeremy is on fire and I have a fire extinguisher but can’t get the pin out.

Having flown a light aircraft before, I am overwhelmed with jealousy. I'd sell my mother to have my own light aircraft. Congrats Captain Captain Slow!

Edit: Should have searched first... as per this link, the base price is about $150,000.
I googled the registration and found this picture as well.
It was taken on July 13 at Duxford. Looks like James took his girlfriend out for a romantic weekend cocking about with his new TopToy!

An old one sells for over 100,000 GBP, but his looks new ... so probably a hell of a lot more.

b) Because for just twice the money (depending on actual cost), he could've had an EXTRA 300SR (200,000euro) and run the freaking air race circuit. +/- 10g*, 440deg/s roll rate. Definitely the Formula 1 of aerobatics... too bad May's gone with the Clio Cup of aerobatics.

Super Decathlon is a sports plane. Wouldn't sailplane/glider suit James more. hehe.
