Our tribute to Top Gear
Hi all,
I was lucky enough to participate in a 24 Hours of LeMons event this weekend in California with 5 friends. If you ever get the chance, sign up for one of these races, it was the most fun I have ever had. Absolutely brilliant. Our team's entry car was a 1991 Volvo with a 5.7L Chevy V8, which we discovered had a cracked oil sump not one lap into the race, and was spewing hot oil onto the exhaust manifold. We fixed it with high temp putty and it held for most of the race. Anyway, here's a few pics of our car, including our tribute to Top Gear at the Britcar 24 hour race, enjoy:     Cheers! Patrick |

I was one of 5 drivers on our team. I had the most experience...roughly 10 track weekends...
..should have shut my mouth about that point when I got black flagged for going off...and was subsequently spanked with paddles and docked 30 minutes. If you're on the fence about this race, do it. It's hysterically fun. Patrick |
