Hey everyone, please Digg our video on Digg.com to help get the word out to other Top gear folks. http://digg.com/autos/Top_Gear_Spoof
Thanks, CJ P.S. We know it isn't a spoof, far from it, but the average joe hasn't a clue. Last edited by cjarnesen; November 13th, 2008 at 4:19 AM. |

Nice work. Where in the Bay Area are you? I'm in Oakland.
I kind of love how Jeremy + co think all roads in America are straight. With California's topography they're missing out on some of the most insane roads in the world... http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=dry+creek+rd+and+canyon+rd,+ca+to+stewart's+point,+ca&sll=3 8.692745,-123.367195&sspn=0.132911,0.2211&ie=UTF8&z=10 |

He's just instigating as always. It's like when he calls all Americans fat while sporting a belly like a second trimester prego. I live in Oregon, so I know all about windy roads myself.

That. Was. Awrsum.
Seriously, well done. The cars had a nice variety to them, the camera angles made for some great watching, and it never felt forced at all; you don't make it look like you're making a film, and that's the most important part. The only criticism I have is that I would avoid "challengisms" that we've all heard like "turned his attention on our cars" etc. At least to me, it made it come off like you were trying to channel Clarkson when I would hear lines like that... and at no point did it seem like any of you were lacking any chemistry enough to warrant trying to channel your inspiration. Also, lol @ "Please don't shoot us." |

Part 1 was great, I thought. Looking forward to seeing the rest...especially The Stig's Californian Cousin.

Excellent work guys. It was better than what I had expected. Good chemistry, good cinematography.
Can't wait to see the rest.

To give everyone an update, we are really really close to having this done. I want to have the final finished project online by the end of the month. The current runtime is about 55 minutes. We're likely looking at doing an initial release online where you'll be able to watch it in a small format on a website somewhere. Then a little later, we'll get a closer-to-full quality file somewhere under 1GB and do a torrent release so everyone can download it and watch it as they would do with any episode of Top Gear. Stay tuned.
