Default Petrolheads

Petrolheads

Car equivilant to Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Have I Got News For You and They Think It's All Over.

So far just one six episode series hosted by Neil Morrisey with Richard Hammond and Chris Barrie as panel captains.

Question is...will there be a second series?

It wasn't very good. Plus I don't like Morrisey that much anyway, and he made Richard crash into his own Ferrari which he just had restored!

I realised there was a health risk in the Petrolheads studio, involving car exhausts. I wondered if the studio has extracter fans on the ceiling.

Episode 1 and episode 4 are the only episodes that sound good. I don't recall seeing them.

I guess the studio had fans in the ceiling.

It was pretty bad, I'd almost totally blanked the show from my mind, untill you reminded me again because of this thread!

I second this. The part where Hammond was tricked to crash onto his own 308 GT4 is very painful to watch.

It was no good... Chris Barrie is a tosser. The bits weren't even that great... some were too easy and some were too stupid... that's the two options. Best thing about Petrolheads was Fearne Cotton's appearance.

He was a guest on either the 3rd or 4th episode... not a regular like Hamster.

It was OK. The trouble is the producers used the talent in the wrong way.

Hammond should have hosted it, with Neil Morrissey as a team captain.

Because I think he is? I don't know if he's officially a tosser.

I just hated the way he talked/acted on Petrolheads... always this smug stupid look on his face.

some of it was very funny, but it ran a bit too dry at times, i did like the weird roadsigns though, hammond was usually pretty funny, and from my memory the first episode was great, but it fell flat after that and never really robounded

also i agree about hammonds ferrari, that was just sadistic, even if it was a mondial

Watch the show Red Dwarf, one of the best comedys ever. Chris Barrie is superb in it.

I thought it was quite nice actually or at least the episode with Murray walker and James May, images/smilies/lol.gif Chris barrie doing a silly impersonation of him as well.

I have them all on my competer except for the last episode which I never got to download.
