The Subaru was a standard WRX, the bug eyed ugly mark 2 version.
This was run around the track on the second episode of the 1st series along with the Civic Type-R & the Focus RS, they are on now.

Something tells me they've mixed up the name, cause It doesn't seems to be anything like a Ariel R400.

Not really, it was Stig's birthday present rather than a test.

Yep, They claimed it could go around the track in under a minute. So they gave it to the Stig as a birthday, christmas and a few other holiday presents wrapped up in one.

Has the 2005 Mustang GT (V8) ever been round their track?

If not, any estimates as to where it would come? Ford is claiming better rigidity and so on with this one so I'm wondering if it goes round corners...

Surprisingly, it hasnt gone around the track. Personally I think it would have been around the 1:30 mark near the Audi S4 and Aston DB7. Heres Stiggy's laptimes:

Would the £100 cars from 4x03 count on that board? They were road legal (until they got smashed), and they did do laps around the circuit with the Stig driving.

These cars arnt current and im not even sure if they used the same bit of track that the normal cars do...

The Alfa has been on twice, the segment dedicated to it was in series 2 episode 8 with the Black Stig.

The one you are thinking of was the Autodelta tuned 147 GTA with a 3.7 engine, tested by White Stig and in the list as "Alfa 3.7 GTA"

2 questions :

1. what indication/evidence is there, that the White driver is different than the black ?
2. its really really POINTLESS to test some cars on the wet. Is it really that hard to test them all on the dry, or dry out the track or something? Dont they film/produse the episodes before the season starts?

1) I think that is white driver agresive than black. but who know.. images/smilies/rolleyes.gif

2) But some car is not from UK, I think that transport is not so easy.. images/smilies/wink.gif

At first they tried to test all the cars in the wet, dry weather is less common in the UK. They could also wet the track if it was dry, but it became a bit of a headache so they gave up after a few episodes and just started putting W for wet on the lap time board.
