What's the point then? The guy's already said he's got no interest in the whole F1 thing; if he did it he'd just be wasting his time, along with everyone else who's genuinely interested in F1 racing.

And anyway, Richard has already said in a radio interview that he's not doing it.

Whoa! Hold bump Batman. This thread was cleared up ages ago, he didn't even know it himself, and has very little interest in F1. This was even said on Radio 1 I believe, when he went on to the Chris Moyles show.

Probably time for aimages/smilies/dancinglock.gif on this. Please don't revive dead threads unless you're going to make a major contribution.

... and they STILL use the World Feed footage to boot! I know what you mean about the commentary. They make it seem electric. That ALMS race that got booted to NBC just sucked because they had commentators that didn't have a freaking clue. The race started and all they had to say for like the first half a lap was "it looks strung-out". Meanwhile they had Calvin Fish who comments for SPEED down in the pits like meat and he was totally outclassing the NBC knobs with his reportage. I mean for crying out loud SPEED has Hobbs who freaking drove F1 and the GT40's in LeMans and is a total riot, partly because he seems a slight bit senile (ever heard him imitate the F1 engines? Haha).

But I read about the complaints that BBC won't show GP2 and all those others. I like SPEED in that they show a really really good chunk of the more popular (at least in America) motorsports. Star Mazda, GP2, Koni Challenge, Rolex Grand Am, ALMS, CORR, Runoffs... the list goes on and on.

... Crap. I just realized how old this topic is.
