I know that they said that, but Jeremy still references to it often (lovingly jokingly, of course) by saying "I'm the only one that can drive things like this without crashing" and stuff like that. Richard has even mentioned the 'trouble he had with parking a jet powered car' (not exact words, but you know). I have heard them talk about it during series 10.

It doesn't bother me and perhaps Richard and the others 'joking' about it helps him to move on to some kind of normality? I have no idea.

Thank you for such a detailled explanation images/smilies/smile.gif It is much appreciated. I am sure he would have noticed had they travelled any further 'downward'.

Man, one thing after another for poor Hamster. I hope he gets better and there aren't any complications.

images/smilies/lol.gif It's funny how different hospital diagnosis procedures can be. Mine went like this:

Doctor: Okay, does this hurt? *Pokes me*
Me: Arrgh!!
Doctor: Okay, we're going to remove your appendix.
Nurse: Shouldn't we do a CT scan first?
Doctor: Well, if there's pain in that spot, it's either appendix or ovaries. Does he have ovaries?
Nurse: Uh, no.
Doctor: Well, out comes the appendix, then.

Its this useless little pocket in the intestinal tract, used for nothing, sort of like a whales hind legs (no, not its tail) All it does today is get covered in nasty stuff and get infected.

Okay, why did he have his appendix removed at a veterinary hospital? Is that a stupid joke?

Appendicities is pretty common... my friend had his removed before Christmas. It took him a week or so to recover fully but it's a pretty routine thing. Sucks that he also has a hernia and kidney stones, but he'll be alright. These things pale in comparison to what he's survived before.
