Richard's Gunpowder plot - ITV4
The Gunpowder Plot: Exploding the Legend
This was first shown on ITV1 in 2005 - the 400th anniversary of the Gunpowder plot [for non-British types, the Gunpowder plot was an attempt by disaffected Catholics to blow-up parliament and James I]. To cut this short, a full scale replica of parliament is built (a much smaller building than the one we know today) and a very large amount of gunpowder is placed beneath it... If you missed this the first time, you really should make an effort to see it now, as it really was very good. Worth watching too for non-British people, so if someone is able to rip it for our fellow foreign FinalGear friends, it is well worth seeing. Monday 5th November ITV4 at 9:00pm. |

Hi,
Yeah it would have worked in theory if it ever had happened. If you haven't seen this programme then I won't spoil it for you. If you can get the ep (it may be on 95s ftp) it's well worth a look. Hammond & the crew went to a lot of work for this & it was worth it! EDIT: Have a look in the Video Offers section. I thought I had this vid but it seems I don't....Sorry
