S10 - Africa ?

Just got an OOO from the TG producer - says they are filming in Africa, for what looks like 2 weeks.

As far as I know he ONLY does TG....

i rang the TG office a few weeks back and asked some questions, and Grant (i think hes the assistant producer) was very helpful.

I might ring tomorrow and see what they say lol images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Having lived and played in the desert for over a decade I can tell you that it is a very fragile ecosystem. I think that these are valid concerns, but ultimately what worries the author is not the Top Gear trip, but the increasing popularity of the area for recreation. Unfortunately there will always be inconsiderate assholes who tear up the land for no good reason. I go off road, but I Tread Lightly and stay on established and marked (where applicable) trails, mining roads and rail beds. There is plenty of challenge on designated trails that you don't need to go cross-country.
