does anyone know if the Saleen S7 has been tested by top/fifth gear and if it is available for download anywhere?

I'm pretty sure it has never been tested by top gear.

Never been on, I'd love to see it as Saleen claim it'll out perform the F60.

Er, the Enzo. The F60 was the code name for the development of the Enzo, but they decided to scrap the name. But yeah, I'd love to see it too.

I really dont like that Saleen thing. Atom is a lot cooler. More sure of itself Id say.

When I first saw the S7 I thought it was a bit of a McLaren F1 ripoff.

But it's a very well developed engine that makes 575 bhp and 570 lb-ft of torque. They made the mustang normal 4.6 liters into 7.0 liters to get those figures.
But i think they used the mustang engine since they have good relations with ford since they only make performance stuff for ford cars. Also, they have the most experience with ford engines out of all other engines...

it's also because its a cheap engine like Andrew911tt said, and its a very popular engine that is easy to get.

it looks a lot like the mc F1 but then they got the TVR sagris styler to come in with his axe and make "suttle" alterations images/smilies/smile.gif
