Yeah I was going to say. I mean I know it's not going to be a Honda Civic on reliability or anything, but catastrophic engine failure at 55k miles? Crazy.

A classic car that pretty deserves to be restored, not broken!

I know Hammond fixed and kept his Dino, I wonder what became of the slightly unreliable Urraco?

If I lived in the UK, I'd snap it up as soon as possible.

Actually, I've been thinking. You know how kids always nick that type of badging off cars? That might just be why the previous owner bought the SS badge. images/smilies/wink.gif

What I think is the problem with the Maserati is that it haven't been maintained properly. After all, there's plenty of well maintained old Italian super cars left in the world.

"Breaking" means "parting out", correct?

Hmm... I wonder if they would ship a part to the US. Would be a nice collectors item.

hmmm if I had any money (I might actually fix my miata) I'd love to pick that car up and shove some bits from GM inside it. Great looking car, just needs a few more reliable parts.

Really? That's quite interesting. I do hope the 'little one' took £10,000 from his bank account to pay for it. As much as I like him, I don't really want to fund his car habit through the licence fee.
