    Default Season 14 High Definition?

    Hi there!
I've searched the forum without finding any answer, and maybe i'm just a fool for not entering the correct words or whatever.

Anyways, I'm just wondering if Season 14 of TG will be ripped in 720, 1080 or both? Really looking fwd to the new series!!
    Thanks you guys!

Heres another problem: My computer sucks.

Playing 720p (i think) avi files on my computer results in slowdowns and dropped frames. if this new HD top gear is un-runnable, will a normal release be provided?

    oh, just found the answer!

"We’ll be doing our best to provide 700MB (SD), 720p, and 1080p rips for each episode. The HD rips will likely take a bit longer to release though, so don’t expect them as quickly as we release the current resolution rips."

    sorry guys!, silly me

There will the the normal HDTV.xvid releases, there will be the 720P.HDTV.x264 releases, and that's it. I highly doubt 1080P rips will be floating around very often. Nobody encodes the 1080i source capture into 1080P for TV shows, and you never see the 1080i .TS file posted on public torrent sites. Even among private sites it's rare.

    Quick question regarding playback.

What media player would be best for HD playback?

We need an HD czar that closes down all HD-related threads and points to http://forums.finalgear.com/top-gear...o-go-hd-39251/ where all these questions have been asked and answered numerous times.
