Default Series 10 on 'Dave' already???

I've just seen an ad for Series 10 episodes of Top Gear on Dave/UKTVG2. Some of the clips haven't even been shown on BBC2 yet. How long before Top Gear airs on Dave first before BBC2 images/smilies/lol.gif

If it's just an ad/preview then why wouldn't it show bits that haven't been shown? You don't show an ad/preview and show old bits that have already aired.

And given that only the first 3 episodes have had their studio segments filmed, I doubt there's any more than ad/previews being shown.

My point is though they're showing the newest Top Gear on a Satellite channel literally a couple of weeks after its had its original airing on BBC2. A bit odd, and will non-UK channels get new episodes as quickly in the near future?

^ Yes, I wondered about that very odd.

Strange things are happening at the BBC. The bits that they are really good at are being targeted for redundancies whilst the DG is spouting a load of crap about quality (see him being ripped apart by Paxo the other night on NEWSNIGHT - very funny?).

I think the game is perhaps to fill the number of hours of TV they have with programmes that costs as little as possible and programmes like the Blue Planet is not cheap. But that is the stuff that the BBC does better than anyone in the world, full stop (period) and they are supposed to be producing. ...

Someone, some where has a hidden agenda - Cough Rupert (M Bear) may be behind all this, you mark my words. Mind you I am semi paranoid so perhaps not.

It is the greatest channel ever.
50% Quiz Shows (HIGNFY, QI, Question of Sport), 20% Top Gear, 20% Old Comedies (Red Drawf, Alan Partridge) and 10% Documentaries (Ray Mears, Airline).

They are showing the first episode of the new series on Sunday at 7pm. I wonder how much the music will have changed and how much they will have edited it.

I thought the music only changed on the early BBC prime episodes, I've not seen anything on Dave with the music changed from any recent episodes (recent being series five onwards).

They will cut loads though, just to cram the adverts in.

It is a shame about the adverts.

I think the reason that Dave is showing them is that Dave (And the rst of UKTV) may be owned by the BBC or something.

It's partly owned by BBC Worldwide. BBC Worldwide also distribute Top Gear around the world, so there's no reason why other international channels can't get Series 10 as quickly as Dave.

I hope to God those Halfords adverts get the boot - they are so annoying each side of a TG adbreak.
