I just went to the Philadelphia auto Show yesterday and I definitly think the new Jaguar XK will be a feature player and then the new M4 roadster (sat in that and was easily my favorite car at the show, and i dont even like BM's).

My speculations:
Jaguar XK
BMW M(Z)4
VW Eos
Audi Q7
Vette Z06
VW Jetta GLI, maybe in a comparison of other cheap, hot saloons?

They did race a Skodia Fabia Vrs (with Jeremy driving) against a Mini Cooper (with Hammond driving) and the Skoda won.

It was episode [04x08] July 18th 2004.

We have already seen the Q7 now and since they dont really like SUV's. It might not turn up again.
My guess is that they will kick off with the XK8, since they started with the most important british car's in the last two series. But it's still time.... images/smilies/sad.gif

Well, I'm in the US. And yeah, every Jetta/Vento generation we have seen a hot GLI model. I never thought about it, I guess I just assumed most of you guys got them too.

Looking at the Volkswagen UK site (dunno about the rest of Europe), there's a Sport model of the Jetta, which is offered in NA petrol, turbo petrol and turbo diesel versions, I guess the turbo petrol is the closest to the GLI.

(I think it's called the Jetta FSI Turbo here, the new model is the first car introduced with the Jetta badge. GLI feels like a weird name for a sports model, most GLI badged cars I've seen have been base models of cars)

Either way, I'm definitely looking forward to Season 8, I wonder what they'll come up with this time?
