Are you sure? Remember that it's Daimler-Chrylser and not Chrysler-Daimler images/smilies/wink.gif

I guess people just don't get the current TG because they feel like it is a hardcore review show. A lot of the stuff they say on the show is tounge and cheek. It is entertainment. They exagerate everything to get a point across, or just to get some fun on a review. Come on, you have to admit you laughed when you heard the leaf spring metaphors, etc or how the British won in that drag race.

JC trashes stuff for the heck of it and to push buttons, and if you remember the early years of TG you will recall how tiff and the others use to call him out on it as a running joke.

If you are a car enthusiast you can apprciate qualities of all cars, and appreciate one set of things more than another, but that doesn't mean one is obligated to hate all other brands, etc.

Ex. The F-bodies were straight line monsters, but that doesn't do it for me because I like a bit more than just that. Doesn't mean they are horrible cars, just they are not for me.

The "us vs. them" is usually more insecure fanboy talk.

Below you can see a picture of leaf spring suspension. Below that is a drawing of the C6 rear suspension which i cut out of a cutaway drawing.

Okay, I've seen various pics showing off the Corvette's leaf springs, but I can never actually find them in the pics! images/smilies/oops.gif Could someone highlight them for me? All I see is a shock absorber and A-arms. images/smilies/wacko.gif
