You can get helmet here...

And the suit here...

http://www.jaysracewear.co.uk/

NOT CHEAP!

I also suggest Ebay.

The helmet is definately Simpson. The Arai helmet was worn by "F1 Stig".

Yeah I actually recall it from the F1 clip but I thought it'd be the same as the one he usually wears.

And what's up with those Simpson people, why are they selling a helmet that is neither road nor motorsport legal images/smilies/wacko.gif

They might be helmets for Autocross or tracks days, but they do sell motorsport helmets.

Its possible that he opted for a different helmet. The simpson might offer a lot of drag in an open topped car on a 400 mile trip. That can get really fatiguing very quickly.

As for the suit, I think this is the one:

They seem to swap between an AlpineStars suit, and a Jay's suit.... I wounder if this would be a way of telling the difference between the two stigs, they'd definatly have thier own suits....

I'd agree with that. I think it was Damon Hill that said there were multiple Stigs. But maybe it's just a clever trick by the producers images/smilies/wink.gif

those suits don't come very cheap , they're fire resistant, and the straps on the shoulders should be able to hold your weight

maybe if it's only for fun you might somewhere fine a crap one which isn't allowed in racing

Bandit are SA2000 standardised.

Unless you are in Formula 1, you are ok for any rally, touring cars and certainly ok for club sprints.
