Default the 6 red cars on the begining of top gear (befor season 8)
Before season 8, the first scene of TG is always 6 red cars doing a circle in front of the studio. My question is what cars are these.

As far as I can tell, they are (in order): F355, Mini, MG estate, civic, polo, Jaguar X. Any other thoughts?

Maybe it was there to represent Jason Dawe's 'sensible motoring' section of the show? Or as you say maybe a red BMW or whatever didn't turn up so they had a look in the car park.
