'The Message' by The Cops tricky question...

Hello,

I am a big fan of Top Gear and their high production values. As an editor, this website has been a huge help to me, listing commercial and library music tracks for me to compare. I've already used a lot of tracks I see them use now.

I have, what is probably an impossible questions, but I'll give it a shot anyway.

I have heard this song on Top Gear (I think while Jeremy might be narrating), however, the 'trick' being I don't think it's this song.

The guitar plucking is only a intro in the song by The Cops, but on Top Gear I seem remember it going for quite a bit longer - in fact that's all the song was. I do not remember if it was commercial or production music.

I am watching every episode I have of Top Gear in the hope I can find it, I thought I'd post this as a shortcut.

I'll keep searching, but any thoughts would be welcomed.

They could have looped and re-mixed it I suppose. Sorry I'm not more help.
