Default The new format of top gear?

I'm sorry if that topic exist already, i just saw the news...

Why is it changing from 350 to 425 mb?
What's wrong with the 350mb episodes?
The less the better if quality is accepting...
why is it growing... ? images/smilies/smile.gif

And that probably means that 5th gear will get bigger also?

no fifthgear wont get bigger..as far as i know.. cuz fifth gear runs for about 45 mins whereas top gear runs for an hour and at the moment they're both the same file size.

so top gears file size is just being increased to accomodate the extra 15 minutes while being just as good as or somewhat better quality then fifth gear releases.

Fifth Gear stays the same, just Top Gear gets a slight increase to 425mb for slightly better quality which will be nice.

All the information you need to know is contained in the news post on the site and also in that thread burnsy linked you to.

If your issue is with your own bandwidth, I'm gonna quote Viper off the main site - "For those on capped bandwidth connections, I apologize, but it’s just an extra 75MB an episode. Hopefully that won’t make you go over you limit. And if it does, it’s time to get a better connection anyway!"

^So true!
