The roads they took.. (10x01 spoiler)
heres my guess of the entire path..
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&hl...01563&z=7&om=1 a couple of notes: - Lichtenstien: on the way from Vaduz to Davos, ive taken a guess and included the road that Richard wanted to go on, but couldnt ![]() - Davos - Stelvio: as mentioned in some other threads, there are a bunch of different options here. I tried to stay as true to the virtual map as shown in the episode, and also taking into acocunt that they seemed to go by several lakes in that leg Feel free to tweak as people see fit! its definitiely a driving holiday i would love to do at some stage in my life (albeit not for a few years methinks, considering i already am in debt for my trip to Canada @ Xmas) Enjoy! -Nick EDIT: fixed the link, as the last one seemed to stop at Lichtenstien...

I was talking to two other forum members on facebook about that too and I thought... Ya know, after that episode I wouldn't be surprised if that road gets busy as all hell now.

![]() Thanks Nick! Now I have something to dream about when I'm on my Ducati Sport 1000 screaming like an furious jet fighter at 11,000 RPM with (remember when Britney Spears was hot? Circa middle school or something, every time somebody needed to make an analogy about a really attractive female they would just namedrop her "Baby One More Time" ass. Then she came out with "Oops I Did It Again" and everything just kinda went downhill from there, and now she's a disgusting paste-eating psycho monster of her former self. So yeah, I'd make an analogy relating to Keira Knightley or Natalie Portman, but frankly there's just too many hot chicks out there in Hollywood, not that it's a problem, so naming a specific one is going to be a pain in the ass. Hell, there's enough hot girls at Syracuse already. Thanks for listening to that bit of nostalgia. Great, now that song's stuck in my head...) holding on for dear life.

A girl I hooked up with several times goes there now... she is/was (haven't seen her in awhile) hot.

no, the davos-stelvio route is wrong. i think it goes around more east (enter Davos-Stelvio in google earth) I drive the route you drawn in (tiefencastel-silvaplana) regulalry (great driving road too btw
) but it's not the one featured in the video.

You've got to keep in mind that the film wasn't edited entirely chronologically. Especially the road signs were quite random (I'm just talking about the Swiss bits now).
Having had just a superficial look at drnick's map (it loads sooooooooo slowly), there's a few remarks I can give: 1) They most certainly did not take the A13 from Bellinzona to Chur, because that's a motorway which goes throuth the San Bernardino Tunnel, for the San Bernardino Pass you need to take the H13. 2) I thought I recognised the Flüela Pass road on their route, therefore they went south east - it was definately not the Landwasservalley/Albula route (that looks totally different). Maybe a good excuse for a reconnaissance trip??!?

I love how the route looks pretty straightforward at first, but the farther you zoom in the more it really does look like spaghetti draped over the mountains.

yes, it's definatly the Flüelapass which they took, notice the lakes (a big and a small one) on either side of the road. you can clearly recognise them on a map. I shall take this road the next time i'm heading in that direction

Instead of the Flüelaplass they should have taken the road from Davos to Tiefencastel - Julierpass - Bernina - Livigno - Stelvio. I drove it last Saturday. IMHO it's the best mountain road ever!
