Rep Power: 28 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The ruined furniture [Kinda Spoiler About 10x01] First of all: This isnt ment to be a spoiler thread. Anyway, whos up for getting TG some new seats? A Vauxhall/Opel Senator shouldnt be too pricey - I just checked the price in Norway and its already a bargain, so it should be really cheap in the more southern parts of Europe (germany, netherlands, england etc). If we are really lucky, we could find one at the scrapper with the seats still there. This would obviously require quite a bit of donations, but we should really start with the easy bit: Is anyone interested? Discuss. |

Car: '97 Hyunai Accent *cough* Rep Power: 11 ![]() | http://www.autobahnstormers.org//adv...s_for_sale.asp There's a couple on there that people are breaking up, No prices as such but hey, it's a start. I'm all for it, lol. Those ones advertised on there are a month old or so, but I don't suppose there's a huge rush for Vauxhall senator parts these days.

| Square with a title | no, why? they get the largest budget for any show the bbc produces iirc. I think they'll be fine unless they have the same chairs next season or they all hurt their legs in some rocket car accident i don't think it'd be that necessary. |

| @ .au | You know, I quite like the new chairs, and as said, James looks right at home. Then again, I wonder if they could find out who's got those Porsche 928 seats. ![]() |

| New seats are actually nice. They make the stage look more British. ![]() I'm just worried that I posted in a furniture topic...

Rep Power: 10 ![]() ![]() | If they wanted new Senator seats they would probably have bought them So no point in buying them for them, it's not like they lack money, the BBC ![]() |

| I quite like the change, tho they have to rebuild the cool wall, it just isn't the same without it.

Rep Power: 9 ![]() ![]() ![]() | Theyre filthy rich. If they want new seats, they'll get new seats. Right now, theyre just using the fire and the "jamesey" furniture as another entertaining little gag. |

| I think they spend the large budget as fast as they get it however, with trips to italy in expensive supercars (which they probably had to rent) that get 9MPG. Buying a ruined (Crashed?) car shouldnt be too bad, and make final gear "That site that gets together and sends gifts to top gear" ![]() EDIT: Durr! | VIP | It's all part of the 'set' - the new retro seats are supposed to be that way and I bet they stay that way for the rest of the series. If they wanted to replace the TV - for example - a new 42" pro plasma is less than £1000 - small change in their budget. |
