Just so you know, I have a nice little button here labelled "Edit" that I could use... you're emoticons can easily be removed.

Also, I have a nice little button with an 'X' on it that would delete your posts altogether... that can also be used if needed.

I think the Legacy was robbed. The Subaru is clearly superior to all other non-subaru vehicles ever made. I mean come on. images/smilies/wink.gif

I could talk about the bad grammar and spelling in gaurav_200's posts, or his...interesting use of emoticons, but I think its self evident. Especially considering he's talking to a mod. images/smilies/eek.gif

That new GTI looks to heavy too be a true GTI. I think the magic of the first MK1 GTI is all gone and that new one is just another attempt to bring it back (it is a much better attempt in contrast of those older GTIs).
It looks very aggressive nevertheless but still not what I'd call a GTI Golf images/smilies/mellow.gif

It may be heavy, but its luxurious, spacious and has a lot of grunt. 200bhp and 1300kg isnt to bad at all! Remember that back in the late 70's Airbags were unheard of and we had just landed on the moon. The new Golf has like 8 Airbags and a lot of safety regulations to fullfill. Thats why it weighs "slightly more than South Africa". So I think it deserves the old name. Its a new, modern GTI. images/smilies/smile.gif

To those of you trashing its style...you have to see it in the 'flesh' to make judgments like that. It's a fantastic looking car, and it absolutely OOZES quality. I saw two (one white images/smilies/drool.gif

, one black) at the Paris Auto Show and they are certainly better-looking face-to-face than in photos.

So far, it's gotten nothing but rave reviews. It's my next car, no doubt.
