Default Top Gear Curse strikes again

taken from AOL UK News:

Top Gear smashes up £600,000 sports car
Top Gear curse strikes again as ride in £600,000 Koenigsegg goes horribly wrong:

Powered by a 4.7-litre biofuel V8 engine, and fitted with twin superchargers, this environmental supercar of the future retails at £606,000.

Koenigsegg - the manucaturer of the super fast CCXR - insisted that a senior engineer drive the 1018hp, 250mph supercar between photographic locations. But then...

What wasn't quite so predictable was that one of the engineers "hit a cone" that had been left out, and crashed - causing tens of thousands of pounds' worth of damage.

All very embarrassing for the Top Gear team... and even more so for the hapless engineer who was behind the wheel. The crash speed could have been more than 120mph.

It's worth somewhat less now than its incredible £600,000-plus ticket. No doubt the producers of the incredibly successful motoring show will ask themselves: "Is Top Gear cursed?"

from reading that, it sounds like it wasn't top gear's fault, it was the koenigsegg engineer...

Great post, Clown images/smilies/lol.gif images/smilies/rofl.gif

And, by the way, TOP GEAR DID NOT CRASH IT, IT WAS KOENIGSEGG'S OWN TEST DRIVER

And, yes, I do mean to yell.

OK, I really don't see how this is embarrassing at all for Top Gear. It's Koenigsegg, particularly the engineer, who should be cowering in the corner.

Seems as though AOL UK have the same quality reporting standards as FOX...

P.S. Millionth re-post.
