Default Top Gear DVD due for June release

My brother texted me last night to inform me of a Top Gear DVD release for June. So I checked up Play.com and low and behold, there is.

http://www.play.com/DVD/DVD/4-/33268...4/Product.html

My guess is it's the American special from series 9.

Don't need it. I downloaded it from IpodNova. Plus, we all know they will probably substitute crappy music in there.

Well, the content of the DVD hasn't yet been confirmed, but the first 2 DVDs were best of compilations, and we have not had one of those for a good while since around series 5 - I found the Winter Olympics DVD to be much less satisfactory.

Hey, brilliant news- my first thought was that this would be the US special, but a challenges DVD would be welcome too, as would having all the races in full.

EDIT- hang on a minute then, they're giving away a freebie Challenges DVD with the mag now, and then there's a full Challenges DVD out in June, then?

The free DVD is excerpts taken from the Top Gear "Winter Olympics" DVD and little bits from the Challenges DVD, according to the DVD in front of me...I don't think the free one will have the challenges in full...just bits from it. images/smilies/yes.gif I'll watch it and let you know.

Some clarification would be lovey, ta- if it's only clips, and if it's definitely a full Challenges DVD coming out in June, then I'll wait and buy that.

it is only clips from the Biathlon event May vs Clarkson from the winter olympics also the mini challenge from the same special! also has the 'Supercars for under £10,000' challenge and the making of a Boat Car. For example of the clipness, the boat car challenge only had the race on the water rather than the building and drive to the lake that is in the full version! I do not know the others as i watched all of them recently in full but if you will be buying the magazine just for this challenges dvd i would not bother, as you say you will buy the full dvd in june!
