Rep Power: 12 ![]() | OK guys, UK Magazine bloke here again with the following news : "Top Gear magazines gains Czech edition to add to its ever-increasing portfolio Top Gear magazine has struck a licensing deal with leading Czech Republic publisher, Stratosfera, marking the title’s thirteenth international edition. Launching on May 30th, the magazine, costing 79 crowns (euro 2,80), will be distributed across the Czech Republic and Slovakia, the 39th and 40th territories where local versions of Top Gear magazine are available. Stratosfera is an established publisher already producing local editions of Stuff, Cosmopolitan, Esquire, Harper’s Bazaar, CosmoGIRL!, Autocar and F1 Racing, as well as many local titles. James Hewes, BBC Magazines Global Licensing Manager, says: “Top Gear is now the world’s leading motoring media brand. The TV show and magazine continue to go from strength to strength, both in the UK and across the world. We’re delighted to be working with Stratosfera, we believe they will make a huge impact in the Czech Republic and Slovakia with the launch of a new version of Top Gear magazine.” Antonin Herbeck, Stratosfera’s Managing Director explains unique position that Top Gear will occupy on the Czech market: “When during our Top Gear presentations we started to see exciting faces of readers and advertisers, we immediately realized that the brand is well-known also in the Czech Republic and has tremendous potential. Personally, I have been addicted to the Top Gear TV show and the magazine since their respective launches and the idea behind publishing Top Gear for Czech readers is to share this excitement with fellow drivers, that are being bored to sleep with German-style auto writings." All comments welcome - hope you enjoy it.

| I am a subscriber of the Czech version of TG.. its quite good apart from the fact that it lags one month behind the original british TG, so you can read the features on british TG website one month prior to them being published in czech.. I can scan the covers for you if you like ![]()
