There was talk of combining it with one of the motor shows as the car companies were saying they couldn't afford to do the shows and MPH.

The Melbourne Motor Show one is coming up soon so it won't be that one if this does happen. But I really hope this doesn't happen though. MPH needs to be a show on its own.

The Top Gear website says the MGH show will be visiting 15 countries in the next 15 months.

I am sure Australia will be one of them - lets hope we get the UK presenters too........

Australia is definately one of them, but this old article's claim that it will be in three cities seems to have been a little premature.

If you are in or around Sydney, don't make any plans for 6-9 February , 2009. images/smilies/wink.gif

The details of the tour haven't been officially announced yet, but when they are, you'll be able to get them here- topgear.com/live .

From what I've heard its only Sydney.

Darling Harbour, 6-9 February 2009. Thats four shows, running from friday night to monday night.

The entire tour will take in 15 countries over 15 months.
