Default Top Gear profits...

It seems the accounts for Bedder 6, the company owned by Clarkson, Wilman and BBC Worldwide to sell the Top Gear brand over the world, have been released. It's interseting to see how much the TV show and subsequent merchandise has sold.

Here's the full story, http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2008...myclarkson.bbc

Shouldn't be too long before he buys and reviews his own SL65 Black Series then?

Jezza and Andy, if you're reading this, good on ya both. Richly deserved and don't listen to any bearded, tofu knitting, sandal-wearing lentillista from the Grauniad tell you any different.

Well done chaps - richly deserved. This is a bit less than I expected actually, but it could take off if the US and Oz version are successful, and I do not see why they should not be.

Finally, Wilman can start building his own car collection to rival the rest of them!

Keep up the good work guys, every pound you earn is like a kick to the face for the enviro-vegan-rambling-lefty-campaigners of this world!

Funnily enough I seem to remember reading something to the effect that andy isn't that bothered about flash motors and drives something quite ordinary. Buggered if I can remember what though......

I have a "Sub Zero" T-shirt. I would have bought the "Seriously Uncool" one instead but I didn't like the shade of blue it came in. Also have an "I am a Driving God" one which came free with a TG magazine subscription a few years ago but I only wear that one around the house because otherwise people keep misreading it and start talking to me about Jesus.

He is the unabashed owner of a four-year-old Honda Jazz and claims “air-con and a decent stereo” are his only requirements for the motoring good life

and
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/dri...fset=12&page=2
But he’s not into cars himself. He claims that if you can get it round the Wandsworth bridge roundabout without crashing it must be all right. Top Gear is the biggest car show in the world now. He could borrow anything he wanted, any time. And the most expensive thing I’ve ever seen him in is a Mazda2.

Though these are both from 2005 so he may have got all aspirational and bought a Ford Focus...
