I agree - in one of Clarkson's older vid's that he does (not sure which one off the top of my head) he shows off a HSV clubsport, waaayyy before it was imported in to the uk. I reckon a Ford F6 Typhoon'd go down well with Clarkson & co.

I think you should get a radar or a speed camera of some sort on Top Gear track witch measures the top speeds of cars driven around the track.. You know, like in Formula 1. At the present, it's only Jeremy (mostly) saying "That is fast../ That's pretty fast".. It would be nice to know the exact speeds.

Put it just before braking in to Bacharach Bend, because when coming out of the Follow-through and Bentley Bend the cars are doing flat out.

they used to have that on some of the older eps - not sure why they got rid of it. Probably so they could cut the segment better, rather than having to show the whole lap everytime.

unlikely, I think its probaby just because most people who watch it aren't really interested in the speed, revs and geforces that the car is going through, all it did was take up half the screen.

Well.. what are they interested in then?!? It could just be a little box in the lower corner of the screen.. It's possible in these times of modern information technology, I think.

They've already done that, can't remember which ep it was (any ideas chaps?), but it was rigged up and Stig drove past several times at different speeds in a TVR until he didn't get caught excellent, shame I don't drive a TVR really

I would really like to see Top Gear dedicate one episode to Jay Leno and visit him and aaaaall his cars. What an amazing episode that would be, totally terrific.
Also I would like to see Ricky Gervais be the guest in one episode. Ricky Gervais and Jeremy Clarkson are my 2 favorite Brits

Someone mentioned in the episode only thread but I figured this is better place for it but they need to steal Jame's tape for the theme song using the engine sounds, make an mp3 or something out of it and put it up for download on the website. The version that someone made is just audio ripped from the episode itself. It would be neat to have a clean version straight from the source.

Yup... sorry couldn't do much more since the VERY smart BBC decided to throw the voice-over over the end credits! I'm hoping the re-broadcast will be better, but if the original can be put on the TG site, it'd be soooo cool!

Didn't mean to sound like I'm blaming you! I know you had to make do with what's out there.

Even if they hadn't talked over the credits, I'd still prefer one right from the source instead of off just audio off the TV. I guess I'm just obessive that way

No, no, don't worry, I'm not taking it the wrong way. I just got really unhappy when that voice-over came on and I couldn't shake that anger off. When May played it from this "boombox" it was cut short due to canned laughter, but then when the next opportunity comes, they ruined it AGAIN!

Anyways, thank Goodness the re-broadcast was way better...

No Clapping, TV Ripped

And I do agree, the realy thing would be better.

Shipping the Tankrod over to sunny, temperate, beautiful England (man, I'm sarcastic today) would be a nightmare.

Found this on the Top Gear website. I haven't been bothered to listen to it yet but I'll post it anyway.
