The real test of this show will be what kind of stars they put in ..OUR resonably priced car.
I mean.. if tom cruise and president bush show up the first day I think the show will make it..
I live here in.. America the land of the boring car show.
I can only hope that the host have the right type of humor (not dumb southern hick shit)
I can only hope they get the same quality cinematographers and sound people that the original bbc TG has.. without the beauty shots and awsome soundtrack even uk topgear would degrade.
and I can only hope they higher good writers, to think what the world would be like if there were no good writers on TG

However that aside if hammond may and clarkson all left top gear and did a show reviewing kitchen appliances Id line up for tickets...

Yeah, I'll second that. It's more than just the cars, it's the chemistry between those three, the cinematography and the antics. images/smilies/thumbsup.gif

they're even hilarious individually. They could make a gardening show must- see-tv.

I suggest they make their headquarters in New York City. Just because, well, it's New York City.

i wish there was a program that let me slap everyone of you close minded idiots through my computer screen.

we do not know if it will be bad. there has been good american shows; maybe not good motoring shows made in america but there have been good shows. remember that this will be produced by discovery, have they ever done anything bad?

the only other bruno i found was from brazil..

might Johnny be Johnny Fairplay ? (looking at picture .. maybe)
AHA!!!!!! I think i figured out who one of the presenters is!!! images/smilies/eek.gif

Ok, Stay with me. I just bought the Jan. TG magazine (I know, I'm Johnny-on-the-Spot) and was looking at the one page spread about Top Gear America (pg.56). On the page you can see all three presenters on the same couch talking to what looks like a guest star.

Well I used Kebab Gud's idea of searching the NHRA pages and stepped it up to google and searched "drag race Bruno". I found a guy named Bruno Massel Jr.

Exhibit A->http://www.ihra.com/photos/headshots/bruno_massel_jr.jpg

Now for those with the high res scans or the magazine, look at the bloke on the far left of the couch. I'm sorry but that hair and nose is impossible to mistake.

*and breathe*
