Well the originals were neither filmed nor broadcast in HD* by the BBC, so... images/smilies/wink.gif

Which I admit is a bit of a bummer since BBC America HD is launching later this summer.

* - With the exception of the Polar Special, of course.

No HD = fail.

TG needs to hook up with Net Flix and stream their shows like the The Office and others.

Net Flix = big Win!

I wonder how much of BBC America HD will be true HD content (like Torchwood) and up-converted SD content. I expect the latter will far outweigh the former.

I would have sworn before I changed providers that I used to get the BBC in HD and TG as well. Might have just been HD in my dreams.

Seems pretty ridiculous to not shoot that show in HD. Crazy.

Just depends on the shows. Everything should be shot in HD these days. ABC was doing it I believe for three years before they ever broadcast it.

UGH.

OT, I've missed a lot of NHL playoff because I no longer get them in HD. It's painful to go backwards.
