So i was reading OK magazine... and by read I mean look at the pretty pictures. images/smilies/mellow.gif

Number 5
Jeremy Clarkson Earnings £1.7 million.
Last years position 5 (2006) on TV list with £1.4 million.
Age 47.
TG presenter, Jeremys books and DVD's sell like hot cakes. He gets paid to write columns for The Sun and The Sunday Times, then recycles them into books which grateful wives snap up for their men. More than 80,000 people signed an internet position to make him PM.

Poor James? I don't feel sorry for him if we are talking about money. He would earn maybe 50 times what I do. He's just not as big of a cash cow as Jeremy but he would still be well off, thats for sure images/smilies/tongue.gif

He doesn't do nearly as many other shows as Clarkson and Hammond do. Plus Clarkson has his books/videos and has been well known for over 10 years. Everyone knows Hammond, if not for his many appearances on shows then probably from the crash. May hardly does as much outside of Top Gear.

3.5 mil $ a year is great, but kinda low for the hosts of the 3rd (or 2nd) most popular TV show in UK.

In the US, with same 25% share/timeslot ratings, their salary wud be 10 times that or more.
