Default Transport 2000 suggested alternative employment for Clarkson

PistonHeads is running this fab article about the BBC being pressured to replace Top Gear.

"Transport 2000 suggested alternative employment for Clarkson. "If we must have Jeremy Clarkson on the television, let's give him something useful to do, such as trying out public transport or road-testing new bicycles. Perhaps he would like to drive a bus; he'd find it just as much fun as a Ferrari," the group said."

Yeah that would be....fantastic:

Jeremy: "It does 0-60 in.....umm....well, nevermind, but now let's see what the Stig can do with it!"

Now if they're using it to jump or crush something, then that's more like it images/smilies/wink.gif

No doubt they will I reckon... would be nice if they did a segment seeing which older cars can best withstand an oak tree or something stupid like that just to put the wind up the hippie movements.

Now that would be nice, where can we write to these guys and give them suggestions, because I think a lot of people here have very good ideas for the show that the BBc is missing.

Jeremy & the crew know about it - This is from his sunday times article, last weekend, about the Peugot 1007.

I think the sparks may start to fly - I can't wait to see the fallout when Jeremy rips into Transport 2000!
