Default US Channels playing Top Gear

What American channels play Top Gear? BBC America has 6-season-old episodes (which are slightly cropped to accommodate commercials), so are there any other channels playing it? Of course BBC's only US stations are BBC America and Discovery & its sisters, which used to run a modified Top Gear.

But aside from that, there is going to be an American version on NBC soon. We can only pray that it'll be half as good as British Top Gear.

[EDIT] Perhaps I should have clarified, this is a question

There might actually be a PBS affiliate or two broadcasting Top Gear, but I'm not sure. I know one or two do the new Doctor Who.

bbca's versions suck. i watched a several episodes.. i do love watching old episodes so i dont mind that its 6 seasons old, but cutting out a lot of scenes, shortening the news, etc really takes out a lot of the actual show.

dload the torrent and enjoy the whole episode.

You know, we have the same problem here in the netherlands. Because of the comercials some scenes is just wrong. Now also belgium is braodcasting top gear and on a station without comercials and even there they cut the scenes. Wich if you ask me is just stupid.
Anyway I still can watch the original on the bbc, but for you guys in america and any other place in the world is much more difficult. If you want to see a full episode of top gear you will have to download it. Wich is just sad.

I do have my dvr set to record when they air new episodes on BBC America but I will rarely watch them on there. I have them all on my external HD in their original form. Not to mention I wouldn't want to wait to watch the newer ones. Torrents FTW.

It ran on discovery after mythbusters a few years back but I haven't seen it there since. That was in fact the first time I saw it, mythbusters ended and I was too lazy to change the channel. images/smilies/lol.gif

I remember those days. I remember distinctly that they had the nun driving the monster truck and I was like oh ok interesting.

Anyone remember Discovery Channel was making their own version of Top Gear in the states?

BBCA is finally going to show Series 11 next Monday, can't wait for it! Even if I already have the original episodes.

Weird, I was thinking that they should be the ones to do Top Gear: America... since I doubt they'd make as much of a hash of it as NBC, and they wouldn't have to "dumb it down" for consumption by the masses at large. Also, Eric Strommer has nothing on Mike Rowe.

I wouldn't have a problem with commercials in BBCA's Top Gear... if they didn't shorten it to fit in an hour time slot. But then again, they cut out a lot of stuff the average American wouldn't "get", nevermind that Joe the Plumber doesn't watch BBC America images/smilies/lol.gif.

Well I'm a little short on hard drive space, so I download the episodes here, convert them to MP4, and put them on my PS3 which not only has enough space but also upscales them for my 50" HDTV. The only downside is that this is fairly time consuming. But it's only once a week and well worth it, plus while I'm converting them to PS3 format, I watch the episode on my PC. I don't know if you can do this on the Xbox 360 though.
