BAR-Honda's F1 car was challenging 400kph at Bonneville.
For a road car to achieve the same is amazing!

Never had a doubt in my mind that it wouldn't be car of the year, after all of Jc's praises of it and the engineering that went it to.

Not really, it's the joint Car Of The Year.

The other one? [below in spoiler tag]

The Toyota Aygo, that monster of a car that's equal to any Veyron in a race

UK car magazine Test Drive did a feature in which they put a Lambourghini Gallardo [sp?] owner into a Smart ForTwo, and timed both machines 'round the track.

They had a bet to see if the Smart could get round a minute slower than the Lambo, or if it'd be even slower still...[Lambo took 2 minutes 13, Smart 3.12 or something]

Quite like to see the matchup of the two TG CoTY winners - See if the Veyron can do 3 laps in the time it takes the other to do two!
