Such a thing isn't possible... he can't get a new Ford GT40... that car doesn't exist.

He did however, order a new Ford GT images/smilies/wink.gif

Well I'm sure you could get a NEW Ford GT40, but you'd have to have Bill Gates type of money images/smilies/smile.gif .

From the 6-13-04 show RE: the CTS....

Jeremy: "dont care, dont like any American car......... they're badly made out of very very cheap materials"

Someone should remind Jeremy that his Ford GT is an American which means not only did he buy a car he doesnt like but, it must be badly made out of cheap materials... I mean they used a truck engine so it must be true. images/smilies/wink.gif images/smilies/lol.gif

He also mentioned in the GT segment that all the bits & pieces of the car came from different manufacturers (suspension, steering, etc...). So the only American thing about it is the engine. images/smilies/smile.gif

hehe I actually sent JC a mail saying just that a few days ago! I was asking why would the new version of the Mustang be bad but the new version of the GT40 be good since it's pracically the exact same story: take a legendary car and make an almost exact modern day copy of it. Still waiting for a reply from "the master" images/smilies/smile.gif

I do agree with Jeremy about the Mustang. The current Mustang is using the Fox platform which is 25 years old so changing/modifying the rear suspension would present a cost issue for Ford. They offer independent rear suspension on the Cobra but its cost also went up from the GT.

Now, the new chassis on the 2005 Mustang is brand new so honestly there is absolutely no excuse at all for Ford to offer a car with a live rear axle in the year 2005 much less call it a performance car. Retro body shape is cool but retro suspension isn’t.

i though that JC would have a ford because of the publicity he made for that car....he would not habe to wait or pay for it...like a gift from ford.
