TOP GEAR

New season starts this Sunday, 26th March at 7.35PM

Top Gear is the UK's premier motoring show, renowned for its super-cars, stunts, time trials, celebrity races and road tests. These exciting ingredients, together with the sharp wit and unbiased honesty of its presenters produce viewing pleasure which consistently attracts audiences of over 4 million every week in the UK. Top Gear is also very popular with female viewers, a breakthrough in a sector traditionally considered a purely male preserve.

The Top Gear team, led by Jeremy Clarkson, is not afraid to tell you the truth about the cars they review - both good and bad; and after 25 years Top Gear continues to lead the way in creating innovative motoring features.

This week on Top Gear, the team takes a look at a wannabe supercar, James, Richard and Jeremy all head back to the Isle of Man for one of their world-class arguments about which car is best, and Trevor Eve, star of Waking the Dead, comes by for a truly hair-raising lap of our track.

Thats just a repeat episode, not a new one.

Top Gear - [07×01] - November 13th, 2005
In this episode:

* A preview of the upcoming season
* Richard drives the £235,000 British Ascari KZ1, later followed by the Stig taking it around the Top Gear track
* Jeremy drives the new Aston Martin V8 Vantage and then compares it to a BMW M6 driven by Richard and a Porsche 911 Carrera S driven by James
* Results of the Top Gear 2005 Car Survey
* Star in a reasonably priced car: Trevor Eve

You got me excited there for a second....
