Which season got you hooked on Top Gear?

For me, it was Season 4. The first episode of that season had the Lotus Exige vs Apache helicopter shoot out and the Aston Martin DB9 vs TGV train to France. I was blown away watching it for the first time back in 2004, and I've been a fan ever since. I was a bit disappointed with Season 14 though. The show seemed tired this season, but I thought the same thing back in Season 8 and they bounced back from that.

I honestly don't remember. I do remember I only needed one episode, though.

And that it's really hard for me to watch episodes on BBCA after I've seen the full versions.

It's hard for me to remember when i got hooked. I noticed last year that i had BBCA on my cable package and they were broadcasting episodes from 2005(season 6 and 7 i guess). The first season that i watched start to finish was season 13. After season 13, i went backwards season to season and now am on season 5, episode 8.

I think it was series 10, when I started to avidly watch it, rather than being in the sitting room while my sister watched it. Jeremy driving the Peel P50 around the office..an enduring memory

I don't know if it was TG or not but the first thing from Clarkson I saw was him berating bikers for "riding along the road with their BIG LEATHER ARSES" something something. Thought the whole thing was quite funny, watched the rest of the episode... then caught the ep with the Enzo, McLaren, Zonda, CGT and XJ220 in it. Watched it ever since.

I would not say I was hooked from the first episode I saw on BBC America, but I will note it intrigued me enough to keep watching and I was hooked soon enough.

I imagine that the first series that would have guaranteed I kept watching would have been 4 or 5.

Must have been around season 5 or 6. Not because of something they did, just liked cars in gennerel, so wanted so see some more..

I got hooked when a friend told me about the Ariel Atom Test by Clarkson a few years ago (S05 E09). Watched it on the tube and loved it.
Don't know which was the first entire episode I watched after that, but yeah, for me it was Clarkson in the Atom.
