Which song do you think should win?

It's down to these last 5, which one is the best driving song of all time? You know, the one that really makes you put your foot into it.

1) Radar Love: Golden Earring
2) Steppenwolf: Born to be Wild
3) Queen: Don't Stop Me Now
4) Deep Purple: Highway Star
5) Meat Loaf: Bat out of Hell

My vote goes to #4. Your MPG's will go to shit during this song - and the 2nd guitar solo will make you want to floor it, unless you are deaf.

queen makes you go fast in a happy/relaxed way

I'm surprised "She Sells Sanctuary" by The Cult wasn't on there.

It sounds like such an open, winding road song.

But for what's on the list I'd have to go with Stepphenwolf.

I really LOVE Queen, but Born to be Wild is just so rock and roll and therefore so perfect for driving fast. And listen to that Hammond organ on the record !

well two of the ones i co-nominated are on the top 5 so im pretty happy - still think Rock and Roll by Zeppelin should be on there but hey... Its a tossup - golden earring at night, highway star for daytime 8)

I called in for Queen. Ace song.

The Deep Purple and Golden Earring tracks are ok, but born to be wild is a biker song, and bat out of hell is poor poor poor.
