Which Top Gear 911 do you like more?

Top Gear Porsche 911 Turbo, Porsche Carrera 4S or Porsche 911 Carrera?

Since Top Gear dog or Huskies? thread was closed I would ask which 911 do you like more?!

I still have almost no idea what the differences are between all the 911s. Maybe if they looked a little different, it'd be easier to remember and distinguish.

It's not that hard. 4 exhaust means Carrera S and 2 means standard Carrera. The Carrera4 and Carrera4S have the same distinction, the 4's are a tiny bit wider than the Carrera but that's hard to notice at all. The Cabriolets are easy enough to spot (they are convertibles!). Pity they didn't put some variously proportioned "Adams" in as well - just to make the difference clear for us non-dudes. images/smilies/wink.gif

All I saw was blah blah blah.....when it takes this many words for such tiny differences, it shows Porsche's exact problem.

Porsche have been selling 911s like hotcakes... Last year they sold over 30 000 of them.

911 Turbo: four-wheel-drive, turbo-charged flat six, 911 turbo body kit
911 GT2: rear-wheel-drive, N/A flat fix, big rear wing
911 GT3: like the GT2, but more and harder, bigger rear wing
911 GT3RS: a GT3, but lighter and harder

It does, two of them actually. And the Carrera4 no longer looks like the Turbo, I would say that the GT2 is "more and harder" than the GT3 is.

Here we go, in more graphical terms:
Standard Carrera vs Turbo: The main visual difference is the intakes between the doors and the rear wheels.

Turbo:

The difference between the Standard Carrera and the 4 is that the 4 is wider at the back, and 4 wheel drive. It can be hard to tell, but the 4 has a general "curvy-ness" to it in the hips, but it can be easy to miss. The Carrera looks more sleek and long, where the 4 looks lightly more squat and muscular...slightly.

The GT3 is just a super light version, and the GT2 is that pretty much-the-same super light version with a turbo. On the last few versions anyways, where the front edge of the hood meets the front "bumper" there is a strip of black. Don't know what it does, but there you go.

Oh, and the Targa is easy to spot because the back window line finishes differently on the side. It comes down to a point, rather than the rounded corner:
