Will TG Ever test the CCXR?

Does anyone know if Top Gear will feature the CCXR in season 13?

I cant wait to see it...if/when they ever test it

At their rate of reviewing/roadtesting literally ONE interesting car per ep these days...that'll be a tight squeeze, esp if its at the expense of other new cars i want to see on the show.

The CCXR has to be one of the most interesting cars out there that they havent tested though...well at least IMO. I mean come on, its on par to set a new world record for fastest prod. car...COme to think of it, why have they never released a "top speed" aside from 250+? Thatd be a cool segment, for them (Stig, presumably) to go out and see how fast it could go.

That's the key, in your opinion. I like Koenigsegg too but given they've already done the CC8 and CCX reviews, there's too many completely different and new cars in the pipeline i'd rather see them review instead.

You have to agree to some extent, it is in the elite 1000+bhp club and may even be faster than the ssc aero...

Which brings me to another point, why havent they released the official top speed of the ccxr? it just says 250+..+ What???

They've done 2. I've always preferred the Koenigsegg to the Zonda in terms of looks, and in terms of performance they've always been close. And look at how many Zondas they've had on the show.

-Zonda F Roadster

They've only built 95 cars (cars, not models), and 4 of them have been on the show. It feels to me like they only took the F Roadster on the show to have something to beat the Veyron. Take a CCXR instead, it could probably beat both of them.

I am quite sure that we'll see the new Jag XFR. Having said that, I sure would like to see some supercars like the CCRX and the Saleen and the Zonda R, but seeing as they've now got limited budget and last time really seem to feature less fun cars in trade for more fun action of themselves, I have my doubts...
