So as good as Top Gear is it's not faultless and they've had some bad segments on their show. What do you guys think is the worst?
I would personally nominate the Austin Healey vs. 'modified' Peugeot segment from the last series. Maybe it's my choice because it's still fresh in my mind or maybe it's my choice because it was so horrendously pointless and stupid. Whenever I think of Richard saying "this is Absy and his crew, and they like hoodies and Argos jewellery" I laugh my ass off. |

IMO some of the interview segments are boring. I enjoy the hot laps, but sometimes the people they are interview are just plain boring.

Well I think in all fairness we shan't include the interviews. Just because most non-Brits don't know the guests, don't understand the humour or both. Plus, it doesn't reflect as badly on the TG guys if they book an interview with a bore as it does if they plan and shoot a pointless segment.

The one where clarkson opened the local pool with the rolls royce. If it's going to be that obvious it wasn't real i'd rather they didn't bother to pretend. The segment just struck me as off the usual key for top gear. It's not a comedy sketch show.

That segment would have been better if they had not shown the car about to go into the pool in the opener.

The preparatory part was mildly interesting, with Jeremy eating the wax and then saying "only Americans would come up with car wax that you could eat!"

Alright, so interviews are out.
I do, however, agree with the Rolls Royce segment, they really shouldn't have shown the car going into the pool, you knew what was going to happen. Totally ruined it for me. |

I thought when Richard compared the Renault Megane CC and the Peugot 307CC was kinda, well ...meh.

Agreed on that one too - there was not much too it...
I must say of all of the segments, the ones with richard alone are not often my favourite

I'd also like to nominate the Veyron race... That was shit boring, nothing exciting about it at all when compared with the 612, SLR and DB9 races. A massive let down. |

Yeah that was pretty bad... if for no other reason, then just for building it up so fucking much and then giving us nothing.
Since everyobdy, including me, is nominating and not mentioning worst segements, perhaps which should hold a poll in a few days after some others have chimed in. Good idea? Bad Idea? |

350z segment was fine for me for three reasons:
1. I want to buy Z roadster 2. Myrkur music 3. "You don't put that roof up, you pitch it ..." I don't know why but it was brilliant... I' m foreigner (well I lived in Edinburgh for almost a year but still...) and I still really like the guests, the funniest being Cowell , P. Kielty, the indian guy (Fanjiv???) that was hilarious!! The worst segment of all time for me was restoration rip-off with James Dean lotus (never watched it to the end always skipped) and S60R review (donna why just hate it) . It commited the worst crime blandness....
