I am organising a charity bangor rally from Leicester, Uk to Athens. Greece in August 2008. The charities are Spinal Research and The Matt Hampson Trust.

True this. I want to be in a rally sometime in the near future, but am located in the Great Kingdom of The States United. But goodluck, and I'd love to support.

Unfortunately I'm going to have to count myself under the "love to but can't" column. Sounds like it would be loads of fun, but money/time are unfortunate set backs for me.

Man I would definately be interested if I lived over there but as so many have already said, I'm on the other side of the Atlantic. For those of us over in the western hemisphere, there is the Targa Newfoundland in Canada. Something I want to do someday. I have no idea what the costs are but it would be wicked fun! images/smilies/biggrin.gif

I'm 18 and will be until November so I cant' go because of your (silly) rule that you have to be over 18 and money, but I think I could raise enough for an old Mondeo or Volvo and the sponsorship

you have to be 18 to drive in Europe! not my (silly) rule but the law.

If you get sponsorship people in the past have raised enough to pay for the car, petrol, food and still donated 700 pound to charity. You have plently of time to raise cash - just plaster you car with company logos!

Be good if you could make it anti-net.

I'll have a think about it and see if I can find anyone who is up to join me and is willing to put some money on, but sorry I doubt I can but I think it would be a really good rally, the route looks great and Athens is a lovely city. If I decided to join you guys I'll mail you
