Default Honda Jazz/City Futura Cabriolet

This little gem lives in Helsinki, and I get to see it every now and then in the backyard of my office. It was cleaner the last time I saw it parked there, but I didn't have my camera with me then. I'd say it's been imported from Japan as a used car, since it's RHD and it says "City" in the back instead of Jazz.

There are some places that number plate would cause a 'stir'. I agree must be Japanese import, or the like.

Hahah images/smilies/lol.gif Yeah, imagine four KKK characters driving around in that, top down, in their hoods images/smilies/mrgreen.gif

It would look like a clown car.

Pininfarina designed that?

I suppose he designed my Buick too? images/smilies/lol.gif

but seriously thats a hilarious little car. the kind of thing that would get seriously made fun of before gas got so expensive. I think I had one in GT4.

Apparently you could get one turbo'ed. And the Madness commercials are hilarious.

I think those were called "City" back then, not "Jazz". I say this because all the sales brouchures I saw back in the day called it "City", and a local museum has a 1984 City Turbo, brought over from Japan in 1986.

I've driven it, and it's brilliant. A little tight for me though, since I'm 6'0" tall.

I see a silver Honda City parked outside the offices of a brickworks I drive pass most days. Must belong to someone who works there. It's not a cabrio but it's in excellent condition and always really clean. I've always wanted to have a go in one - they look go-cart..ish.

They were supposed to be called City everywhere, but since GM had the Kadett City, Honda had to call it the Jazz in Europe.

I'd wager the soft-top design is by Pininfarina.

If a car has a soft/hardtop you can wager that either Pininfarina, Karmann or Heuliez were involved somehow.
