I wonder why they didn't put on display their own Modena-run F1 car from '91...

Maybe because the Larrouse-Lamborghini combination yielded more results.

Oh... and why did they have a picture of that death-trap Lotus-Lamborghini 102 that nearly killed Martin Donnelly on the wall?

Like you wouldn't believe. Niki Lauda, Giles Villeneuve, Schumacher and Fangio's F1 cars.

When driving around the factory we say all 3 new Ferraris go out on their road test. I also say the Maserati Gran Turismo before i had even seen it in photographs. We arrived in front of the Ferrari main gate right when the employees were heading out for lunch and they were all dressed in Ferrari dress. It would make me so proud to be there. It was so fantastic and i would recommend everyone that is a car nut make at least 1 pilgrimage in your life.

I say because the Camel paint is the best looking livery in racing history. This is Lamborghini and looks are very important.

I do want to give special thanx to the tour company that made all this possible.

Our tour guide was a former employee for the Ferrari F1 team and used to work at Lamborghini as well. He worked in the aero dept and even should us some of his tools. He had scale doen replicas of F1 pistons and valves and a wrench for the F1 1/3 aero model.

Here is the tour guide Francesco -- Ace guy....absolutely wonderful.

It is down right amazing how close everything is. They call it "The Valley of Engine" to give you some idea. When we were heading to the Ferrari factory, we passed right next to the Maserati factory. I just wish there was enough time in the day to visit that too.

Oh and if you ever do go......car or bike.....get on the Futa Pass...it is one of the greatest driving roads in the world.

I believe thats that Lamborghini Project P140 concept car from 1988
http://www.conceptcarz.com/vehicle/z...ject-P140.aspx

Although there are some subtle differences.
Also the ConceptCarz article says that the car was rebodied by ItalDesign and shown off as the 1995 Lamborghini Cala concept. So does it mean that Lambo went back and rebodied the Cala back into the original?

No....but i wish i was. I look like an older version of Harry Potter. images/smilies/tongue.gif

I got that picture from his website. Here are some more.

Bini Francesco.

He was our tour guide and is the most knowledgeable man about the brands i have ever meet. I mean he did work for the Ferrari F1 team. lol

He even showed the variable intake tunnels he helped design for the 1995 Ferrari F1 car. Great Great Guy.

Motorstars.....go to their website to see all the tours....they do Pagani, Alfa Romeo, and Maserati too!
