We sat in the "first class" section until we got told to move.

A couple of whacky things in the catalogue on the train.

First is a scope so you can look into your own ear. Why? I don't know. The second one, well you figure it out.

Arrived!

Now time for some random stuff.

Here's a "free smoking room". You can go in here and smoke, no charge. Its recently become illegal to smoke on the street in most areas of Tokyo.

I went to Korakuen to get tickets fro Shooto tonight, this is just next door. I don't know why, but having a rollercoaster going over buildings and through a wall and ferris wheel just makes it seem scarier. You can hear the screams for miles.

Thats it for today!

Sorry, a couple more taken on the DSLR that I ran across when processing other pics and noticed they were auto related.

Rainbow bridge

This is the "ring road" that you can get on and go round and round till you want to get off, used as a race track late at night, as seen in the fast and the furious, can be very confusing at times.

Its a mess alright. If there are town planners here, they're overpaid.
Houses are slapped together like garden sheds, but don't have the lifespan.

Yeah me too, I think.
I might be too old for rollercoasters now, I think they just make me sick.

How much would cost one of those there in Japan?!

By the way, how does the law deals with tuned cars over there? Anyone can do it without any problem or if you get stopped by the police you can get your car apprehended?

Just because I see a lot of tuned cars over there... though I love some of them!... Like this AE86

This photos are awesome... keep on!

You need to head to the Daikoku Futo in Yokohama at night. Alot of seriously modified cars. It is one of the places I want to visit in my life time.

I work for Buick....... and it's not nearly as fun as it sounds.

Well, they're overpriced here because they've become a bit of a collectors cars. Around $10-15k on average, the one in the picture more than that. Unless you've got your heart set on one and have bucketloads of money, I would suggest either something local or, if you want to import something, a newer car. For that money you could get an RX-8, 350Z, Skyline 350GT, RX-7 etc.

I can only guess on this one, it seems to be easy enough to do. Theres an annual or bi-annual inspection, but thats pretty simple. The police here are pretty lenient on the roads, its a great place to drive once you get out of the city and don't mind paying for tol roads. Its still good in the city on a bike if you don't mind risking your life.

Import rules must be pretty lax also, because you see a lot of older American cars being imported recently.

Don't see many, besides RX-7's. I'll keep my eye open.

I've been meaning to go there (or Oifuto I think is also a hangout) but have never gotten around to it. I don't have a bike or car at the moment, but when we get one I'll be sure to head down.

Ya It looks like there is quite expensive too... But well that's because of being such collectors car that I'm looking for one.
And because of this too:

+ YouTube Video
ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.

Just to be said It was the first 16V car/engine here in my country and it is capable of great handling... For import some car from would be quite odd... I drive in the right side of the road and have the steering wheel at the left side... There you have the opposite!!! But well, thanks for the help...
