| Yar so I just got back from a vacation in the UK, and in London we stayed in a hotel in wealthy Kensington... so obviously there was majorly expensive cars everywhere. I saw so many expensive saloons (lolbritishterms) that they just looked normal to me after a while, you could hardly turn your head without seeing an S-class... followed by another S-class . Somehow I saw a few DB9s and numerous Vantages but didn't get a single half decent picture of any Astons, I mean, FFS, one night when we went out to eat some guy parked his Vantage on the street right in front of us as we were walking back to the hotel, but I had decided to drop the camera off before going out, gah! Also saw a black Murcielago on the M4 for like 2 seconds, so I didn't manage to snap that (and a bus in the bus lane!), and later a Gallardo with a really bitchin purple-gold dual tone paint job (the exact same paint is available in Forza 2 btw, and it would've been just awful if it wasn't on something as ridiculous as a lambo), I'm not sure why I didn't take a picture of that. Anyways, heres the pictures that I managed to capture. The only editing is cropping and sharpening on most of the pictures. I didn't waste the energy of moving my finger a little bit on riffraff like Benzes and Beemers and Porsches, no I only took pictures of fo real nice cars that you don't see in every city. I do have a few more photos, but they're either blurrrrrrry or you can hardly even see the car. An odd site coming out of Heathrow, a stretch Charger with a nice pearl paintjob. ![]() ![]() Gallardo with the liscense plate "CL053RR" ![]() A very shiny, clean Arnage ![]() Around the corner on the same street (the street is really short and comes off two main streets with a corner in the middle of it). I saw one other Granturismo, in blue, but the picture I got of that is just a blur. This car has presence! ![]() A sexy sexy sexy new TT with an ugly old Arnage covering it up (yeah, ok, I was taking the picture of the Bentley, the Audi just happened to get in the shot) ![]() Not a particularily rare car, but I just thought it was a good picture. ![]() It's... most of a Ferrari 550! ![]() Oh god, I don't even know how many Continentals I saw, but I just ignored them after a while ![]() ![]() Words are not necessary. Possibly my favourite sighting from my 4 days in London. We ate a pub just at the next street corner away from this piece of awesomeness. Saw another in dark blue, and one in silver. ![]() Honestly the best Aston Martin photo I have. IIRC it was a DB9 (I can't tell the difference at the front tbh) ![]() Mazzer Fourdoor (yer in England, speak english dammit!). Before seeing one in person I thought they were kind of iffy looking, but now I think they're just about the sexiest sedans around, even with that big nose. ![]() Notice how large the compact car in front of this Elise looks. Parked outside of the home of the guy who owned it, like 20 seconds walking distance from the hotel. The picture was really dark so I lightened it nearly to oblivion (the car was blue if you can't tell). ![]() Ugly footballer's car, anyone? ![]() And another Quattroporte, this one just outside Buckingham palace. ![]() ![]() It's a Rolls Phantom, can you tell? Another car that I couldn't seem to get any decent snaps of, and I saw several too. ![]() I have a feeling these are both the same car, even though there was 5 minutes between photos. The second picture's quality is pretty ehhh because I didn't bother looking when I took the photo so I didn't use any zoooom so it's almost a full res crop. ![]() ![]() Not even in London, in fact I think I was just taking a picture of the bank, but it turned out to be a cool looking picture of that model of Jag that just blatantly looks like an Aston, except ugly and dull. ![]() Again not London. I woke up one morning to find this sitting on a flatbed in the parking lot- oh, sorry, car park outside my window. It was huuuuge! You can't tell in this downsized picture, but that's a Flying B on the front. Old Bentley in British racing green, can a car be more British? ![]() I saved the best for last, the extremely rare McClaren Mercedes SLR convertible... or is it SLR McClaren Mercedes... It was at a really posh looking hotel (could've been apartments, dunno, didn't really look at the building) along with two other Mercedi, don't remember or care what they were. Less downsized than the rest of the images, for your gawking pleasure. ![]() | |

| Yeah, I remember going through that area of London and you really do see some kind of exotic/supercar literally every second.

Car: FIAT Punto Sporting 95HP Rep Power: 13 ![]() ![]() ![]() | I too was on vacation in London. I too was tempted to take photos and post them somewhere. But honestly man...what is the point? I saw S-Classes as often as i see Pandas in my country (the FIAT, not the animal). Astons, Bentleys, Ferraris...the lot! But in my mind one guy stood out! The guy with a white Countach. The noise, the sight, the smell! OMG! if i find the photo i will upload it.

| sorry for bumping my own topic. I just realised that that SLR is probably a 722. I mean, it doesn't have the 722 badges, but it's got the wheels and the carbon fibre splitter. Can anyone tell if it's a 722 with the normal badges (like the guy didn't want to confuse people or something), or if it's a normal SLR made to look like a 722? | |

| Ah, good point. Just googled that point and as far as I can tell, it's just a body kit and some wheels. I guess rich business men aren't very creative ![]() | |

That guy I photographed was from our group and he's also a car nut. But also a BMW nut. As for the R8, it was parked around 4 pm, on Saturday Aug 2nd, at the end of Lower Regent Street.
