I would love to see an IS-F in person. The exterior looks a bit weird but the exhaust note sounds quite promising from the sound clip on Lexus' website. Gotta see one on the streets to confirm that though.

Went down to the big mall in Iowa City...saw this

That is the 3rd one I saw today...I know for sure someone where I live (only about 2,000 people) has one...then I saw another one in Cedar Rapids (big town closer to me than Iowa City). But I have a sneaking suspicion that this one was the same one I saw a couple hours earlier.

I keep seeing those lights that go around the bottom of the lense, I think "holy eight pound six ounce newborn baby Jesus, is that an R8!?" then my hopes are dashed.

He's borderline "you park like an idiot" sticker worthy though...I had to park between two trucks

^ There is quite a substantial price difference between the 55/63 AMG models and the much more exclusive 65 AMGs. In fact, just yesterday I was wondering who would buy a 65 at such a hefty price increase, given the real world acceleration and power is probably not much greater than the 'normal' AMGs.

As to why it's jacked up, maybe it has pneumatic air suspension which lets you increase/decrease the height of the car. If you look closely you see the front of the car is up on the curb, maybe he raised the car so it wouldn't scrape out. As you can see the back of the car is still stuck out into the road even though he's up on the curb.
